Gurgaon (Har), Jul 29 (PTI) Three persons have been arrested on charges of snatching and stealing vehicles by the city police’s anti-vehicle theft division, an official said today.

They used loot valuables from motorists at gun point.

The accused are residents of Jakhopur village in Sohna, the police said.

Their arrest was made on last night when they were escaping in a stolen car in Badshahpur area, they said.

“They were involved in over a dozen cases of snatching valuables and stealing cars. The gang was active for the last few months,” Gurgaon Police PRO Ravinder Kumar told PTI.

“They were arrested from near the Badshahpur toll plaza. They tried to flee but were nabbed,” he said.

During interrogation, it was found that the car they were using was snatched in DLF area, the PRO said.

A country-made weapon, two mobile phones and a motorcycle and were seized, Kumar said.
