New Delhi, Jun 30 (PTI) Turmeric and jeera prices rose up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today largely on the back of increased demand from retailers and stockists amid fall in supplies from growing regions. Jeera common and jeera best quality also increased by Rs 200 each to conclude at Rs 18,300-18,500 and Rs 20,300-20,800 per quintal.

Traders said apart from buying support from retailers and stockists, rising export demand, mainly pushed up turmeric and jeera prices.
