Mumbai, May 7 (PTI) The Met department today said there could be unseasonal rains at several places in Maharashtra in the next five days.

Kolhapur, Sangli, some districts of Marathwada and some parts of Konkan region are predicted to get unseasonal showers, the India Meteorological Department said in a report.

Thundershower was reported from Manmad in Nashik district this afternoon.

Overcast skies and sporadic rainfall were reported from some other places too.

Unseasonal rains have damaged mango, grape and other horticultural crops at some places in the state this summer.
