Agarwal was elected as one of the youngest presidents of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for 2009-10, the company said.

He had played a key role in resolving and bringing auditors, who were involved in the ‘Satyam scam’, to task.

Commenting on Agarwal’s appointment, PaisaDukan founder and CMD Rajiv Ranjan said with his joining, the company now boasts of having the strongest board with cumulative experience of more than 200 years.
