New Delhi, Sep 12 (PTI) Wipro Lighting, part of Wipro Enterprises today said it has tied up with pureLiFi to develop applications for the wireless communications and lighting market in Asia.

LiFi is high-speed bidirectional fully networked, wireless communications using visible light rather than radio frequencies, the company said in a statement.

“Our partnership with pureLiFi will provide the technology that will ensure we are at the cutting edge of the LiFi technology revolution,” Anuj Dhir, Vice-President and Business Head, Commercial Lighting Business of Wipro said.

Portronics launches dual purpose bluetooth headset at Rs 1,999 * Portable digital product maker Portronics today said it has launched a bluetooth headset with clip for dual-purpose of music and calling priced at Rs 1,999.

The product has a high tech CSR chip on it that allows voice prompting the caller’s phone number and cleans up noise from the phone calls while on the move, the company release said.
