New Delhi: The Apple Store has gone down barely hours ahead of the launch of the iPhone 17 series.
Apple Store has been taken offline just ahead of its much-awaited ‘Awe Dropping’ event, where the Cupertino-based tech giant is slated to launch four new iPhone 17 models. Along with the phones, Apple is likely to reveal AirPods Pro 3 and new Apple Watches.
Taking down the store ahead of new product launches is an annual tradition for Apple. The tech giant takes down the store to use the stoppage to refresh its website with new products, specs, pricing, and promotional material.
Right now, the Apple Store is showing the ‘Be right back’ message, followed by “We’re making updates to the Apple Store. Check back soon,” and a link to the Apple Event.
The Apple event is set to start at 10 AM Pacific Time, which is 10:30 PM India time. The Apple event is being held at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino. It can be watched by navigating to Apple’s official YouTube channel, the company’s website, and Apple TV.
Cupertino is a city in California’s Silicon Valley, best known as the global headquarters of Apple Inc.
Though Apple hasn’t announced or released a schedule for the event, Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17, rumoured to feature Apple’s first custom-designed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip. This piece is predicted to be roughly the same as the iPhone 16 but with a larger front-facing camera (24 megapixels compared to 12 megapixels) and longer battery life.
