Music maestro AR Rahman has cancelled his tour to North America this year amid the coronavirus outbreak which has infected more than 5 lakh people across the globe and has taken more than 20,000 lives. “There is nothing more important to me than sharing my music with my loyal fans throughout the world. Unfortunately, this is a moment when we should be in our homes with our families. He further added, ““I am postponing the May & June North American tour until next year. At that time we can come together to once again share our music and community. I will be sure to update you over time, and I am praying for everyone’s health and safety. #ARRLive #NorthAmericaTour2020 (2/2).”

The event was slated to be held this year from May to June. However, he has promised his fans that he will keep updating them about the concert’s dates. Not only several events across the globe have been postponed but many movies have also been postponed. Also, the shoot of all films across India has been stopped amid the coronavirus outbreak which has taken more than 20,000 lives across the globe in a period of 3 months.
