Auto Expo 2018: TaMo RaceMo, Tata Tigor Sport & Tiago Sport to Debut at Delhi Auto Expo

The Tata Tigor Sport, TaMo RaceMo and the Tata Tiago Sport will be displayed in the Performance Zone at the Tata Pavilion at Delhi Auto Expo.

Tata Motors is gearing up for the Auto Expo 2018 with an array of new cars, concepts and other mobility solutions that will be exhibited at the Expo. Apart from the Tata H5 SUV and the X451 premium hatchback, Tata Motors has some sportier surprises in store for Indian petrol heads. The company will showcase the Tata TaMo RaceMo sportscar along with the Tata Tiago Sport and the Tigor Sport at the Delhi Auto Expo 2018. All the three cars will be put on display at the Performance Zone of Tata pavilion and will be headlined by none other than the TaMo RaceMo. TaMo RaceMo
The TaMo RaceMo was first showcased at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show in March last year. The RaceMo is a sub-4m sportscar that will be based on the MOFlex Multi-Material Sandwich (MMS) platform. The RaceMo is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-charged, three-cylinder petrol engine that is capable of producing 190 PS of power at 6500 RPM and 210 Nm of peak torque at 2500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The TaMo RaceMo can sprint from 0 to 100 Kmph in under 6 seconds. Tata Tiago Sport
The Tata Tiago Sport, as the name suggests, is the sportier version of the Tata Tiago, which will make its debut at the Auto Expo 2018. The car will be developed by Tata Motors in association Jayem Automotives. The Tiago Sport will be powered by the 1.2-litre three-cylinder, turbo-charged, petrol engine that also powers the Tata Nexon. This engine, on the Nexon, produces 110 PS of power and 170 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. That said, the power figures on the Tata Tiago Sport are not known yet. Tata Tigor Sport
The Tata Tigor Sport is part of Tata Motors’ product line-up for the Auto Expo 2018. The company has released several teaser images of the Tigor Sport in the lead-up to the Expo. The Tigor Sport will feature a few design elements from the company’s IMPACT Design 2.0 philosophy. This will include a race body kit, new decals and a new interior trim. The car will be powered by the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that powers the Nexon. While the engine produces 110 PS and 170 Nm on the Nexon, we are yet know the specifications of the Tata Tigor Sport.
