Honda Cars India, a popular car manufacturer will also be participating at the 14th edition of Biennial Auto Show next month. The Japanese car maker will be showcasing range of new products at its pavilion. One such product which is expected to put on show will be the all-new 2018 Honda Jazz Facelift which will sport subtle cosmetic updates inside out while the powerhouse options will remain untouched. The car maker will also showcase products like new Civic sedan, 2018 CR-V, HRV compact SUV and others alongside the new Honda Jazz facelift. On the exterior front, the new Honda Jazz facelift 2018 is likely to sport minimal exterior changes while the overall appearance of the premium hatchback will remain the same. At the front, the new Honda Jazz is expected to get new Solid Wing Face grille design and redesigned headlights with integrated LED DRLs, restyled front bumper, wider air vents, revamped fog lamp assembly, new alloy wheels, LED tail lights, tailgate spoiler and much more. Inside the cabin, the hatchback will sport several changes such as new upholstery, new infotainment system, revamped dashboard, new steering wheel and much more.

2018-Honda-Jazz-Facelift-1As far as the powerhouse is concerned, the new Honda Jazz facelift is expected to sport same set of engine options seen on the current model. The petrol unit will be a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol whereas the diesel model will be a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel unit. Moreover, the transmission duties will be carried out by 5-speed manual and CVT unit. However, both the units are expected to be tuned for better fuel economy as well as enhanced NVH levels. It is also rumoured that the company is planning to introduce a sportier avatar of Jazz which will derive its power source from 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol mill. Scheduled to make its official debut at Auto Expo 2018, the facelifted avatar of new Jazz is expected to hit the Indian market by mid of this year. In term of pricing, the new Jazz facelift could get a price tag of INR 6 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant while the top-of-the-line model could be priced at INR 9.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Jazz facelift will compete against the likes of Hyundai Elite i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, upcoming Tata X451.
