Kawasaki, a well-known Japanese bike manufacturing company will be showcasing the new Ninja 400 at the upcoming Auto Expo 2018 next month. Previously, the motorcycle made its official debut at Tokyo Motor Show 2017 in Japan. The new Kawasaki Ninja 400 will be introduced as a replacement for the Ninja 300 that will be pitted against KTM RC 390, Benelli 302R, TVS Apache RR 310, Yamaha YZF-R3 and the likes for the domestic market. The all-new 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 400 will offer better low-end torque and smooth throttle response in comparison to Ninja 300. The overall design of the new Ninja 400 is inspired from bigger Ninja H2 and ZX-10R featuring new bodywork and components like chin spoilers, LED taillight design and much more. The motorcycle also borrows multifunction analogue-digital combo cluster from Ninja 650. The headlight cluster on the motorcycle is also LED with dual low and high beams. The new Kawasaki Ninja 400 motorcycle will be powered by all-new 399cc liquid cooled in-line twin engine with fuel injection system that will be fitted on the new high-tensile steel trellis frame. The powerhouse will be tuned to 45PS @ 1000 rpm along with 38Nm of torque @ 8000 rpm that will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch.
The suspension duties on the new Ninja 400 motorcycle are expected to be carried out by 41 mm telescopic forks at the front along with bottom-link Uni-Trak monoshock setup with adjustable preload at the rear. For deceleration, the motorcycle will be equipped with 310 mm and 240 mm rear petal discs at the front and rear respectively. Lastly, the new Ninja 400 is slated to make its public debut at the biennial auto show in February which could be launched here in the later stage. The new Ninja 400 will be slightly premium to that of  New Ninja 400, so we speculate that the motorcycle could be priced around INR 3.6 lakh (ex-showroom). It also speculated that the Japanese bike maker will showcase ZX-10R SE, Ninja H2 SX and other products at the motor show next month alongside the Ninja 400.
