New Delhi, October 18: The technological inventions have boosted the investigations and helped the police many times in arresting the perpetrators of crimes. This same thing happened with the Delhi’s Nangloi rape case, where the CCTV footage helped the police to arrest the two culprits, who are considered to be the juveniles. Though the video is not clear, but has helped the police to nab the culprits who destroyed the life of a two-year minor. According to the CCTV footage, the two accused are driving a bike in the night time around 11:30 pm in the locality. Their number plate is not clear because of the power cut, that took place in between that time. After the arrest of the two juveniles on Saturday night, the police briefed the media on Sunday and said that they have arrested them based on the available CCTV footage. The police also said, that if the crime is proved against them, then toughest action will be taken. Condemning the crime, the Delhi Commission for Women chief Swati Maliwal said that she was surprised with the inhuman behaviour of the people. While Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the Centre controls police administration in the capital, and he has no role to play in decreasing the crime rate in the capital. However, Kejriwal met the Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, to review the law and order situation in the city on Sunday. The two arrested juveniles on Friday abducted a two-and-a-half year old girl from outside her house in West Delhi’s Nangloi area and raped her. The minor was found bleeding profusely in a park by neighbours. In another case, a five-year-old was gang-raped by three men. The incident took place in East Delhi’s Anand Vihar area on Saturday. A neighbour took the victim to his home and raped her with two of his friends. When locals saw the girl coming out of the neighbour’s house crying with blood on her clothes, they thrashed the three accused and handed over to the police.
