Mumbai, Nov 27: Mega block will be carried out on Central and Harbour lines today to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipments. Local train services will be disrupted on Central and Harbour lines during the mega block. While Central Railways will carry out mega block on Central and Harbour lines, there will be no mega block on Western line. All local trains on Western line will be running as per schedule. During the block period, all long distance trains leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) Mumbai and Dadar will be diverted on Down slow line between Matunga and Mulund. Special local trains will be run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai-Mankhurd and Thane-Panvel sections during the mega block.

 MATUNGA-MULUND DOWN FAST LINE FROM 10.15 AM TO 3.15 PM

Down fast/semi fast services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 9.38 am to 2.54 pm will be diverted on Down slow line between Matunga and Mulund stations halting at all stations between Sion and Mulund stations and will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.

All Up fast/semi fast services leaving Thane from 10.46 am to 3.18 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule. All slow services arriving and leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

NERUL-MANKHURD UP AND DOWN HARBOUR LINES FROM 11.10 AM TO 4.10 PM

Up and Down Harbour line services will remain suspended between Nerul and Mankhurd during block period. Down services for Panvel/Belapur/Vashi leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai from 10.11 am to 3.29 pm and Up services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10.29 am to 3.46 pm will remain cancelled.

Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Trans Harbour / Main line from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm on their valid tickets. Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling on foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains.
