New Delhi: Amid worldwide scare of coronavirus, 234 Indians have been brought back to India from coronavirus-hit Iran, external affairs minister S Jaishankar said on Sunday. This is the third batch comprising 131 students and 103 pilgrims, he said. The second batch of 44 Indian pilgrims had arrived from Iran on Friday. In the first batch, there were 58 Indian pilgrims. “Last night, after an in-depth discussion with the President regarding the COVID-19 test, he elected to proceed. This evening, I received confirmation that the test is negative,” Dr Sean Conley, the presidential physician, said in a memorandum to White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham on Saturday.
