Cuttack, Sundargarh, Balasore Lok Sabha Election Result 2024: The Lok Sabha elections in 2024 was held in four phases from May 13 to June 1. Ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress are in a three-way contest in Odisha. Assembly seats in Odisha goes to poll along with the general elections. The polling for Cuttack was held in Phase 6 on 25 May. The key candidates for the 2024 General Elections in Cuttack are Bhartruhari Mahtab (BJP) and Santrupt Misra (BJD). In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Cuttack seat was won by Bhartruhari Mahtab who contested on a BJD ticket, while BJP candidate Prakash Mishra had come in second place. In 2014’s General Elections, Cuttack constituency was won by BJD candidate Bhartruhari Mahatab as well and Congress candidate Aparajita Mohanty was the runner-up. Sundargarh is a district in state of Odisha. The polling in the Sundargarh held in fifth phase of the general election 2024 on 20 May. There is straight two-way fight between former union tribal minister and BJP candidate Jual Oram and BJD’s Dillip Kumar Tirkey.

In the 2019 and 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the Sundargarh seat was won by BJP candidate Jual Oram, while BJD candidate Sunita Biswal had come in second place in 2019 and Dilip Kumar Tirkey was the runner-up in the last election. Assembly seats that fall under Sundargarh parliamentary constituency include Talsara, Sundargarh, Biramitrapur, Raghunathpali, Rourkela, Rajgangapur, Bonai.

Balasore Lok Sabha 2024 Election Results

Balasore is a coastal district of Odisha. It is situated on the northern coast of Odisha, bordered by the Bay of Bengal to the east. The fight in Balasore is between Ptatab sarangi who is contesting from BJP’s ticket and Lekhasri Samantsinghar has been fighting from BJD’s ticket after leaving BJP this poll season. Srikant Kumar Jena is representing Indian National Congress (INC) from the seat.
