New Delhi: The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Lok Sabha election rally in Dwarka. The event, organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party, is scheduled at 6pm from Dwarka Sector-14 DDA Park on May 22. The advisory aims to ensure smooth traffic flow and security arrangements for the rally attendees. With a large crowd expected to gather for the event, commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.

“VVIP will visit DDA Park, Sector-14, Opposite Vegas Mall Dwarka, New Delhi on 22.05.2024 at 1800 hrs. to address a rally being organized by a political party,” the advisory said. “Large number of people are expected to attend this rally which may affect the traffic on surrounding roads,” it added.

The advisory urged Dwarka commuters to cooperate by avoiding or bypassing the specified roads if possible and to maximise the use of public transport to reach their destinations. “people who are going towards ISBT/Railway Stations/Airport are advised to carefully plan their travel with sufficient time at hand.”
