New Delhi, June 4: Arvind Kejriwla will begin cleanliness drive in Delhi. The Delhi Chief Minister will start his cleanliness campaign in the national capital. The Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government asked people to come forward and be a part of the drive.Even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched his ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’, Arvind Kejriwal started his separate cleanliness drive in October last year.

During his first cleanliness drive, Arvind Kejriwal was seen cleaning the streets near the Prime Minister’s residence at Race Course Road. He then went to BR camp where he joined the safai karamcharis in a cleanliness drive. (Also read: Arvind Kejriwal mobilises political support in fight with Centre)

Meanwhile, the Delhi government summoned the officials of Nestle company over Maggi controversy. On June 2, the government tested the sample of Maggi noodles and found it ‘unsafe’. During testing, the government found that only one of the thirteen specimens was deemed acceptable. The ten masala (tastemaker) samples had lead exceeding the prescribed limits. The prescribed limit of lead is 2.5 ppm. While five were inaccurately branded and contained taste-enhancer monosodium glutamate (MSG) without proper declaration.
