Lok Sabha Election 2024; Sunita Kejriwal Saturday held her maiden election Lok Sabha poll roadshow and and asserted that her husband, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is a lion and will not break in face of odds.
“Aapka bhai, aapka mukhya mantri Arvind Kejriwal sher hai, koi unhe tod nahi sakta, woh jhunkengey nahi (Your brother, your chief minister Arvind Kejriwal is a lion. Nobody can break him, he won’t cower or bow down,” Sunita Kejriwal said while addressing her maiden roadshow in in support of the AAP’s East Delhi candidate in Kondli area of the national capital on Saturday evening.
Sunita stood through the sunroof of a vehicle and greeted the crowd gathered in East Delhi’s Kondli with folded handed as she arrived there for her first electoral roadshow for the Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing the public gathering, Sunita Kejriwal alleged that her husband, Arvind Kejriwal was jailed because he built schools, provided free electricity and opened Mohalla Clinics for Delhi residents.

“Your Chief Minister and my husband, Arvind Kejriwal, has been kept in jail for the past one month. No court has declared him guilty and investigation is going on,” Sunita said.
“If the investigation goes on for 10 years, then will he be kept in jail for 10 years?,” she asked.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo’s wife urged her supporters to vote against “dictatorship” and “save democracy” in the country.

“We will vote to remove dictatorship and save democracy,” said Sunita Kejriwal.
According to senior AAP leaders Sunita Kejriwal will spearheading the party’s electoral campaign and hold roadshows as her husband and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal remains lodged in Delhi’s Tihar jail following his arrest in an alleged money laundering case by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) linked to the purported excise policy “scam” case.
Sunita will hold another roadshow in West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency on Sunday and also also campaign for AAP candidates in South Delhi and New Delhi constituencies as well as in Gujarat, Haryana and Punjab, according to party leaders.
“The people of Delhi love Arvind Kejriwal. He is like a son and brother to them. His wife, Sunita Kejriwal, will come to seek blessings for him and the people of Delhi have come to bless him,” Delhi Minister Atishi said ahead of Sunita’s roadshow
