Delhi Metro Latest Update: The Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi will be sworn-in as the Prime Minister of India in an elaborate swearing-in ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, starting at around 7:15 PM. Several road restrictions have been announced for the residents of the national capital, to ensure that over 8000 celebrities and dignitaries invited to attend the oath-taking ceremony, face no security issues or any kind of traffic. Apart from road restrictions under the Delhi Traffic Advisory, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has also issued a Delhi Metro Service Update, regarding the closure of entry and exit gates at specific metro stations.
As mentioned earlier, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has issued an update for the residents of Delhi, on account of the PM Modi Swearing-In Ceremony taking place at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. The entry and exit gates at the Central Secretariat and the Udyog Bhawan Metro Stations will remain closed. The update reads, “Entry/exit at Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan Metro stations are closed. However, the interchange facility at Central Secretariat Metro station is available.”
