Delhi: A series of purported CCTV visuals have surfaced depicting special treatment for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Satyendra Jain  in Tihar Jail. In a recent development, a video shows housekeeping service in the cell of the Delhi minister and later he is seen interacting with other people freely. Earlier in the week, other videos of him getting a foot massage had sparked a debate row. This video has sparked another controversy as to why an undertrial was being provided ‘luxurious’ facilities inside the jail.

BJP’s national spokesperson, Shehzad Poonawalla, shared a CCTV footage on Twitter and wrote, “After Tihar’s AAP Ka Darbar now Room service in Tihar! 8-10 people providing housekeeping & VVIP services to Satyendra Jain who also enjoyed maalish by child rapist , TV, mineral water, fruits, dry fruits, Nawabi meal, personal visit by jail superintendent! What is going on?”

In the video, which came into the public domain on Saturday, Jain could be seen talking to the jail Superintendent who paid him a visit. It is the fourth such video wherein the minister is seen to be getting luxurious treatments. From full body massage, extensive meals to have conversation with suspende jail superintendent Ajit Kumar.

The ED initiated money laundering investigation on the basis of the CBI’s FIR lodged against various suspects, including Udai Shanker Awasthi, MD IFFCO, Pankaj Jain, Promoter of Jyoti Trading Corporation and Rare Earth Group, Dubai, Amarendra Dhari Singh and others. Satyendar Jain was also made an accused in the matter.
