New Delhi: Multiple schools across Delhi NCR, in different parts of the city have been evacuated today morning as all of them received bomb threats early in the morning today. The schools included various branches of Delhi Public School (DPS) including the one in RK Puram, Noida and Dwarka, Amity School and Sanskriti School among others. All these schools have received the same email in the morning and bomb disposal unit, dog squads, fire-tenders and police officials have reached at these schools and students have been evacuated. Delhi Schools Bomb Scare: Delhi Police Issues Statement 

As mentioned earlier, multiple schools across Delhi NCR have received bomb threats via email and an investigation has been launched; students have been evacuated. According to latest media reports, it is being said that close to 100 schools in and around the national capital have received the threat mail, however, the central agencies are still verifying it.

According to DCP South West Rohit Meena, “We got information that the same email was sent to several schools at around 4:15 am. We took action and made the decision to close the schools and send the students back home. Checking is underway at all the schools and our technical wing is investigating the email. Through the initial investigation, it seems that this is a mass email…I want to request the students and parents to remain calm and not to panic. We are getting each and every school checked and are in contact with the school administration…”
