New Delhi: A shocking incident has come to light from Delhi, where a 21-year-old woman was brutally stabbed to death at her residence in the Dwarka area, allegedly by a man, on Saturday. The victim was identified as Sneha Nath Choudhary, who hailed from Chhibila Bacchiya in Assam’s Silchar city. According to the police, a distress call was received reporting an attempted murder, after which a team rushed to the spot and found Sneha lying on the floor in an unconscious state. The police rushed the 21-year-old victim to a nearby hospital, where she was declared dead by the doctors.
Cops immediately initiated an investigation and arrested the accused man, identified as Raj. The accused man was arrested in an injured condition.
The police stated that Sneha and the accused knew each other, and they recently had some disputes.
Narrating the incident, police stated that, Raj reached Sneha’s residence on Saturday night and attacked her with a knife. During the assault, the accused also sustained an injury on his hand.
After committing the crime, the accused fled the scene.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
