Delhi Traffic Advisory For Commissionerate Day Parade Issued; Check Diversions, Routes To Avoid

Ahead of the Commissionerate Day Parade on Monday, July 01, Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for the residents. Check diversions and routes to avoid.

New Delhi: Ahead of the Commissionerate Day Parade on Monday, July 01, Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for the commuters. As per the advisory, the Delhi Police ‘Commissionerate Day Parade’ will be held on July 1 and rehearsal will be held on Friday(June 28) at New Police Lines Parade Ground, Kingsway Camp. A large number of Invitees including VVIPs as well as Senior Officers of Delhi Police will be attending the parade which may affect the traffic on surrounding roads. Check the diversions announced and the routes commuters must avoid in Delhi on Monday.

  • Ring Road between Hakikat Nagar to Azadpur Terminal

  • Hakikat Nagar Red Light
  • Kingsway Camp Chowk
  • Vijay Nagar Ganda Nala
  • Bhama Shah Chowk
  • Cigarette Wala Bagh Red Light
  • Nanak Plao

Commuters are requested to cooperate by avoiding/bypassing the above-mentioned roads, if possible, and make maximum use of public transport to reach their destinations. “People who are going towards Delhi University (North-Campus), GTB Nagar, Model Town, Azadpur Subzi Mandi area are advised to carefully plan their travel with sufficient time at hand,” Delhi traffic police in the traffic advisory said. The general public and motorists are advised to keep patience, observe traffic rules and road discipline.
