Delhi Traffic Advisory: The national capital of India is one of the most popular and populated cities of the country and while the Delhiites love their city, the one thing that they collectively despise would be the infamous Delhi Traffic that takes up a good part of their day. This is one reason why the people of Delhi choose to travel by public transport and their most favoured option is usually the Delhi Metro. If you are also a resident of Delhi, note that there are traffic restrictions in the city for today, May 27, 2024 near Pragati Maidan. An event is being held at the Bharat Mandapam in ITPO, Pragati Maidan because of which, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory which includes certain routes where vehicular movement will not be allowed, roads that must be avoided and diversion points that must be followed…

Delhi Traffic Advisory Issued For Today

As mentioned earlier, a traffic advisory has been issued for the residents of Delhi by the Delhi Traffic Police. In a post on the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter), “In view of programme at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan on 27.05.2024 from 11:30 AM, traffic regulations will be effective.” The advisory includes traffic restrictions and diversions, the diversion points and routes to avoid.

Delhi Traffic Advisory: Restrictions And Diversions

As quoted in the traffic advisory, ‘to ensure smooth traffic management in the vicinity of Pragati Maidan following measures will be taken’…

  • No vehicles will be allowed to halt or park anywhere on Mathura Road and Bhairon Marg.
  • General entry for public is not allowed.
  • Vehicles found parked on the above roads shall be towed away and prosecuted for improper parking and disobedience of lawful instructions.
  • Towed vehicles would be parked in Traffic Pit in front of Bhairo Mandir, Bhairon Marg.
