Delhi Fire: A major fire broke out at a vehicle impounding yard of the Delhi Police in Northeast impounding yard area on Thursday morning. According to officials, the first call about the blaze was received at around 5:15 AM informing of a fire in the bushes near the yard.

A Delhi Fire Service (DFS) official said another call was received around half an hour later about the fire spreading to the impound yard and engulfing vehicles in the premises, adding that fire dousing operations are underway and at least 12 fire tenders have been pressed into service.

No injuries or casualties have been injured in the incident, the official said.

Notably, this is the second such incident of fire at the Wazirabad yard within a week.
