Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal addressed his party workers and supporters after walking out of the Tihar jail on interim bail Friday. “It feels good to be amongst you all. I had promised to come back soon and here I am,” Kejriwal told a sea jubilant AAP supporters and workers eagerly awaiting his release outside the Tihar jail.
The Delhi CM also urged his supporters to join the fight against “dictatorship” in the country. I have a request, we have to save the country from dictatorship. I am fighting against it with all my might and request you to do the same,” he asserted.

In his address, the AAP national convenor expressed gratitude to the Supreme Court judges for granting him bail and also thanked the people for their support and prayers during his incarceration.

Kejriwal revealed he will pay obeisance at the Hanuman Temple at Connaught Place on Saturday at 11:00 am, and later address a press conference at AAP office at 1: PM.
Earlier today, a two-bench judge of the Supreme Court consisting of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Dutta granted interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal in the purported money laundering case linked against him linked to the alleged Delhi excise policy case.
Hours later, Kejriwal walked out of the Tihar Jail accompanied by accompanied by his wife Sunita Kejriwal and daughter Harshita, alongwith senior AAP leaders including Bhagwant Mann, Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj and Sandeep Pathak.
The Delhi Chief Minister has been granted interim relief for 21 days, till June 1, and asked to surrender on June 2.
Kejriwal was arrested by the ED on March 21 in connection with a purported money laundering probe relating to alleged irregularities in the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy 2021-22.
On Tuesday, the bench had hinted interim bail to Kejriwal to enable him to campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. The ED had opposed his bail, arguing that there can’t be any deviation only because Kejriwal is Chief Minister and asked if the Supreme Court is carving out exceptions for politicians.
