Greater Kailash is a crucial seat and a major battleground in the 2025 assembly election in the national capital. On voting day, the seat witnessed a three-way battle between AAP, BJP, and Congress, making it the most closely watched battle in the 70-seat assembly election in Delhi.
The political future of the 60-year-old BJP politician will be determined in the upcoming 2025 Delhi Assembly elections. She is currently serving as the BJP councillor for the second term from ward number 173 in the Greater Kailash assembly constituency. Dismissing the allegation levelled by AAP that the BJP is loosing the battle, she said, “The people of Delhi also want development like the other states that have a double-engine government,” she told ANI. Saurabh, on the other hand, stated that the exit polls will be proven wrong and AAP will form government this time also.
In the last Delhi Assembly Elections Results, Greater Kailash recorded a historically high voter turnout – 60% of the electorate participating.
