New Delhi, Mar 30 (PTI) Godrej Properties Ltd today said it has signed a new deal to develop a 15-acre housing project in Pune.

The project will have 1.7 million sq ft of saleable area and will be developed in partnership with Godrej Residential Investment Program II. This is the third project under the USD 275 million fund launched last year, the company said in a filing to the BSE.

Godrej Properties MD & CEO Pirojsha Godrej said this is the company’s 12th project in Pune.

“This project addition fits well with out strategy of strengthening our presence in the country’s leading real estate markets,” he said.

Godrej Properties, the real estate arm of the Godrej group, is currently developing residential, commercial and township projects spread across 132.7 million sq ft in 12 cities.
