Ahmedabad, March 19: Continuing its pan-India journey, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication Alumni Association (IIMCAA) held its second annual connections meet in Ahmedabad on Sunday (March 18). While IIMCAA general secretary Mihir Ranjan and founder member Ritesh Verma had flown down from New Delhi to Ahmedabad for the meet, veteran electronic media journalist Kishan Barai came all the way from Odisha. Also Read - IIMCAA Holds Chapter Meets in Kolkata, Ranchi, Aizawl

A range of topics were discussed during the event whose primary objective is to establish connect between people who have studied at the prestigious IIMC. Also Read - IIMC Alumni Connections Meet Held in Patna, Ahmedabad, Guwahati & Singapore

“At Indian Institute of Mass Communication we hardly know any of our senior or junior batch people as by the time a new batch had entered the campus the previous had already left. But IIMC Alumni Association served as the common thread which brought us together and today we are proud to say that we are a close-knit family,” Mihir Ranjan said while addressing the gathering.

Connections 2018 will be organised at 14 locations across India. The final event is scheduled in Chandigarh on April 22.
