Jammu and Kashmir, Sep 3: In yet another encounter in Handwara in four militants and a paratrooper were killed on Thursday. Army received information about the presence of militants in Handwara area of frontier Kupwara district which is around 100 km north of Srinagar. The operations which began on Wednesday evening ended on Thursday morning. According to sources, the encounter broke out in Sochalwari hamlet of Handwara on Wednesday evening. The Army and Special Operation Group of Police received information about the militants in the area after which the army reached the place.
