New Delhi, Jun 3: Former chief minister of Haryana Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Sunday lashed out at the Manohar Lal Khattar-led state government over the rape and murder of a 4-year-old girl whose body was found stuffed inside a container in Faridabad’s Palwal. Claiming that there is no law and order in Haryana, he said crimes like rape, loot and murder have become a daily routine.
“There’s no such thing like law & order here. Criminals are coming from abroad as well. Loot, rape, murder have become a daily routine & that’s why no one is ready to invest in the state,” Hooda said while speaking to media over alleged rape and murder of the minor girl in Faridabad.

After committing the crime, the 24-year-old came to the shop and reportedly accompanied the victim’s parents in their search for the child.
The parents were, later on, informed by a neighbour that the child was taken away by Bholu. When the family members reached his house, accompanied with the villagers, they were left shocked to find the four-year-old’s body dumped in a large container.
Meanwhile, the police have arrested the accused. A case under sections of IPC (Indian Penal Code) and POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) has been registered against him. He has been sent to three days police custody.
The victim’s mother has demanded death sentence for the accused. “We want him to be hanged to death. He was so brutal to my daughter. We want justice,” she was quoted as saying.
