5 Surprising Facts We Learned From Superwoman’s ‘Most Honest Q&A Ever’

Between her bi-weekly videos and daily vlogs, you may think that you know everything about YouTube’s Lilly Singh, better known as “Superwoman”—but in a recent video, she took on fans’ frequently asked questions and let viewers in on the more personal side of her life.

As she says in the video, it’s not like her to dedicate an entire post to answering fan questions, but we’re sure glad she did.

Here are the top five things we learned about Superwoman in this video—all of which made us love her even more:

1. She is a virgin, and she ain’t ashamed.

According to Superwoman, “Are you a virgin?” is by far the question she gets asked the most. “I don’t know what it is,” she said. “Why is everyone so curious about everyone else’s sex life?” Not sure, Lilly. Can’t help it, I guess.

Singh admits that in the past, she’s been shy about answering this question, having come from a conservative Indian community where such topics are typically taboo—and also worrying about getting “virgin shamed”—but she is ready to set the record straight.

“I am 27. I am a virgin. I don’t give an eff. I have not met anyone yet who I’ve wanted to have sex with, so that’s my choice,” she said. Power to ya, girl!

2. She is single and ready to mingle.

“I am truthfully not dating anyone right now,” Singh said, adding later in the video that she has been single for just over a year. Guys, if you’ve ever wanted to date a real-life Superwoman, this is your chance.

3. Her super-long locks can get in the way.

One fan asked Superwoman if her hair has ever fallen in the toilet and while she wasn’t sure if that specific scenario has played out, she admitted that having such lock tresses can be a bit of a hazard.

“When I sit, I sit on my hair,” she said, adding that her hair has also gotten stuck in her butt in the shower.

4. She’s kissed a girl, and she liked it.

Not just once either. According to Superwoman, after a few cocktails, and especially after tequila shots, she and her girlfriends have swapped spit many times—further proving that going out with Superwoman sounds like a rocking good time.

5. She’s a millionaire.

The classic question: What would you do with a million dollars? Having reached that point in her bank account, Singh says she doesn’t do anything differently—she still eats cheap mac-and-cheese, wears her favorite sweatpants every day, and takes UberX everywhere. “It doesn’t really change a lot of what I do,” she said. “I’m cheap as hell, that’s probably why I have $1 million.”
