“A small portion of the slab of the foot over-bridge collapsed. 7-8 people have been injured. There have been no grievous injuries, there is no casualty either. We will investigate the matter and action will be taken against the people responsible for it,” said Railway spokesperson IA Siddiqui. Eyewitnesses claimed that the staircase to the over-bridge also collapsed. The victim toll is likely to rise, however, there is no casualty so far. An investigation is underway and further details are awaited.
