New Delhi: Speculations are that the Aam Aadmi Party popular face and first-time MLA Raghav Chadha may take over as the Vice-Chairman of the Delhi Jal Board. Meanwhile, his party mate Atishi may also get a new role in the new term of Kejriwal government, reports stated. As the AAP government came into power for the third term, all eyes were set on the cabinet formation and roles given to two of the most prominent faces of the party – Chadha and Atishi. According to PTI sources, Chadha’s name has already been cleared by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and is awaiting approval from the LG. After unsuccessfully contesting the Lok Sabha elections last year, Atishi and Chadha won the capital’s assembly polls from their respective seats. Retaining the party seat in Rajinder Nagar, AAP heartthrob Raghav Chadha replaced party colleague Dinesh Mohaniya. Meanwhile, former education advisor in the Delhi government, Atishi won the Kalkaji constituency defeating BJP MLA Dharambir Singh. Notably, Burari MLA Sanjeev Jha and Deoli MLA Prakash Jarwal are also likely to be appointed as members of the Delhi Jal Board. Currently, Urban Development Minister Satyendar Jain is the chairman of Delhi Jal Board.
