New Delhi, Jan 7: The photojournalist of a prominent news channel was assaulted during reporting on Triple Talaq issue in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad on Sunday. Arvind Solanki, photojournalist of Zee 24 Kalak was assaulted when his team was talking to a group of Muslim women which was protesting on the triple talaq issue. Solanki, in his complaint, said  that Javed was live on the show when some unsocial elements started assaulting them. He said Javed was hit with fists in his stomach. He emphasised that the attack was intended to kill  Javed. Soon, after the incident, a complaint was lodged with Ahmedabad Police. Local police, initiating an investigation, formed teams to nab the culprits. Acting on the incident, Gujarat Home Minister ordered an inquiry into the matter.
