Ajmer, Aug 18: A student committed suicide on Friday morning after failing in his Class 10 board exams conducted during March 2018. The Board exam results were announced during the month of May. Upon hearing the results, Manish went into depression. According to a statement from the police, the Class 10 student who is a resident of Chorasiyawas Road hanged himself in his room on August 17. Manish was a hard worker. His family members reportedly told TOI that Manish had put in a lot of efforts while preparing for the board exams. The boy was extremely disappointed on the day his results were announced, his parents said. Police had registered the case. A week before the incident, B. Shilpa, 30, a postgraduate student in paediatrics hanged herself at her house in Pileru town of Chittoor district after she failed in her examinations. She allegedly informed her friends that her college professors had deliberately failed her because she accused three of the professors of committing sexual harassment.
