New Delhi, Dec 3: Two political rivals Punjab Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh and Punjab Deputy Chief Minister and chief of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Sukhbir Singh Badal shared podium at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit on Friday.

The two leaders spoke on various issues. The SAD chief had touched the feet of Capt Amarinder Singh and said that he did it even when he was in jail. Amarinder Singh said that he took care of SAD chief when he was in jail by sending Diet coke, as he had heard that Badal at that time only wanted to sip on diet coke.

In 2003, Punjab CM Prakash Singh Badal and son Sukhbir Singh Badal  were sent to jail after Patiala Court rejected their bail plea in the disproportionate assets case.
