Lucknow, November 16: With Grand Alliance sweeping the Assembly elections in Bihar and reclaiming their point their politics on caste and religion won’t be tolerated in the Hindi belt of the country, speculations are high that the possible alliance between political parties would be amde before the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections. While, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had said that decision on alliance would be taken by senior party leaders.
The indication of the state’s Chief Minister was towards the speculations of alliance being formed by the political parties and the news channels. As per the initial report, high speculations are there that the Samajwadi Party will join hands with Congress and Chaudhary Ajit Singh’s Rashtriya Lok Dal for the poll bound state in 2017. Speaking about the possible coalition, Yadav said, “Hume to nazar rakhni padegi is baat ki, ki gathbandhan kaun chahta hai (We have to keep a watch that who wants a coalition).” (ALSO READ: It’s not time to talk on Third Front: Akhilesh Yadav)

However, also was seen clarifying the party stand that they have not decided yet on whom to joins hands with for the upcoming Assembly elections in 2017, but indicated that the party high command would take the decision. Making his point on the possible Bahujan Samaj Party and Bhartiya Janata Party coalition, he said, “Kahi aisa na ho ki gathbandhan BSP aur BJP ka na ho rha ho, uspe bhi nazar rakhni padegi (We also have to keep a close look on the possible coalition between BSP and BJP).”

The speculations of the coalition between political parties came just after the JDU-RJD-Congress led Magagatbandhan (Grand Alliance) won the recent election in Bihar, defeating the National Democratic Alliance led by BJP. Latest news also reveals that Congress has joined hands with Communist Party of India (Marxist) in West Bengal, in order to defeat Trinamool Congress in the upcoming Assemble elections in 2016. With the politics of coalition between political parties before the elections, it would be interesting to see that the how the voters would be benefited with it.
