As per reports, the residents of the village, where the crime was committed, did not let the police take the bodies for conducting post mortem. They even blocked the road in protest while demanding the arrest of the culprits.

The police said that the incident occured on Sunday night. Assailants entered the terrace of the Shiv Temple, where the three victims were sleeping, through a ladder made out of eucalyptus. They used sticks as the weapon.

If villagers are to be believed, the temple has been built on a disputed land which could be the reason behind the attack.
