Jaipur: A group of people were captured thrashing three Dalit men who allegedly stole five donkeys in Jaisalmer’s Rama village. The video of the incident reportedly went viral on Saturday. Prior to this, on February 22, a similar incident came to light from Rajasthan’s Barmer district. A youth was mercilessly beaten and a rod allegedly inserted into his private parts on suspicion of theft in Rajasthan’s Barmer. The incident is known to have occurred last month.

A complaint was lodged by the victim’s brother in Barmer rural police station soon after the video went viral through which they received the information about their brother’s torture.

On February 20, two Dalits, who were accused of stealing money, were beaten up by showroom staffers in Nagaur district of Rajasthan. Five people were detained in connection with the incident. Reports said that a group of men could be seen beating one of the victims in a video which had gone viral. In the clip of the brutal assault, the mob allegedly poured petrol on the man’s genitals.
