Arvind Kejriwal has tendered his resignation letter as Delhi Chief Minister to Governor Naeeb Jung, earlier today. A day after former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Rajesh Garg alleged that the calls, being disguised as Arun Jaitley and Nitin Gadkari’s officials, to other AAP MLAs were made on the behest of Kejriwal. Latest media reports also suggest that the two-time Delhi Chief Minister has stepped down from the post as to the rising differences in the party.

Another rumour doing the rounds is the complaint case which was filed against Arvind Kejriwal in Muzzafarpur last night, led to his stepping down. Is it a co-incidence or another drama staged by Kejriwal is not known yet!

Amit Shah-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has for long been pressuring the Delhi government on fulfilling its promise on the passage of Jan Lokpal Bill. Crumbling to pressure the AAP supremo, who had threatened to quit in the National Council Meet held a couple of days back.

In a similar political stunt, the AAP founder-leader had stepped down from Delhi’s chief ministerial post last year on February 14 after being in power for just 49 days. This time, the stint has been truncated by three days and after being at the helm for 46 days, Arvind Kejriwal has resigned yet again, betraying the hope and faith of the people of Delhi.

The shocking resignation came after the aggressive in-fight between Kejriwal and top leaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan. During the fighting between the two camps, Kejriwal had threatened to quit AAP. For more details about his resignation, click here!
