LG vs Kejriwal Govt

The Kerjriwal government has had several run-ins with the LG office in the past over various issues. Delhi CM Kejriwal’s tussle with Baijal’s predecessor Najeeb Jung made headlines almost everyday.

Kejriwal had even labelled Jung as “BJP’s agent” on several occasions. Jung became the Lt Governor on 9 July, 2013 when a Congress-led UPA was in power. After coming to power, the BJP-led NDA government replaced most governors but retained Jung.
