11.27 am: Arvind Kejriwal leaves from his residence in Kaushambi for swearing-in ceremony at the Ramlila ground. The AAP convener has not been keeping well for the past three days. Kejriwal has been running temperature and severe cough. A team of doctors examined him before he left for the oath taking ceremony.

10.55 am update: Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal and his family members leave for swearing-in ceremony. Kejriwal will be reaching the venue by car escorted by traffic police as he is down with fever. After the oath-taking ceremony at the Ramlila Maidan, Arvind Kejriwal will also visit Rajghat and pay tributes to Mahatma Gandhi which will be followed by a visit to the Delhi Secretariat office.

Ramlila Maidan will witness Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader-founder Arvind Kejriwal taking oath as Delhi Chief Minister. Preparations for the big event has been in full swing and a massive crowd is expected for the ceremony today. The security of the venue is being taken care by security personnel from ITBP, CRPF, CISF, SSB and Delhi Police. The venue will be secured by around 3,000 security personnel. Delhi Assembly Elections 2015 saw a landslide victory for AAP as the party secured a staggering chunk of 67 seats of the 70 seat Delhi Legislative Assembly. Being the largest party, Kejriwal has claimed to form the government in the national capital- Delhi. A six people apart from Arvind Kejriwal will be sworn in as ministers.
