Notably, the Arvind Kejriwal-government has been credited with ‘revolutionising’ education system in Delhi. It was one of the planks on which the AAP contested, and won, the recently-held Delhi Assembly election.

Manish Sisodia, the deputy CM of Delhi and a close aide of CM-elect Kejriwal, also held the office of its education minister. He is expected to retain his portfolio in the third Arvind Kejriwal cabinet.

While the AAP initially said that no party will be invited to the swearing-in ceremony, on Friday, CM-elect Kejriwal formally extended an invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the ceremony. The Prime Minister, however, is scheduled to be in his Lok Sabha constituency of Varanasi on Sunday.

Another ‘special guest’ invited for the ceremony is ‘Baby Mufflerman/Mini Kejriwal’ Aavyan Tomar, who was spotted at the AAP headquarters on the counting day in traditional Kejriwal clothing, and instantly became a darling of social media.
