Asking who benefitted when the Centre removed Atishi Marlena as an advisor to Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, Arvind Kejriwal wrote:

“So, you agree that Delhi government is doing great work in education? Who benefitted when you removed Atishi Marlena? If you stop creating obstacles, wonders could be achieved in many sectors. It will make you also proud. Please support our efforts. Let’s be positive. Please do not create hurdles in everything.”

Marlena was among the nine advisors who were removed by the Home Ministry in April, this year. According to the reports, no permission had been given for the posts of advisors to the Delhi ministers.

The sacked advisors to the Delhi government ministers included Atishi Marlena and Raghav Chadha. While Chadha was an advisor to the Finance Minister of Delhi, Marlena advised the Education ministry.

The sacking had escalated the tussle between the Centre and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Following the sacking, Sisodia had then said that it was a “conspiracy to derail the education revolution” in Delhi. He had also alleged that Marlena was being targetted.
