Arvind Kejriwal’s brother-in-law under Delhi Police radar, NGO rakes corruption charges
The NGO has alleged that Bansal had submitted fake bills and invoices to the Public Works Department (PWD) for earning huge profit.
New Delhi, Jan 24: Arvind Kejriwal’s brother-in-law Surender Kumar Bansal is being investigated over allegations of corruption charges filed by an NGO. A complaint has been filed by an NGO Roads Anti-Corruption Organisation that has alleged that Bansal had submitted fake bills and invoices to the Public Works Department (PWD) for a huge profit. A preliminary enquiry has been ordered by the Economic Offences Wing following the complaint.
Surender Kumar Bansal had the tender to construct a drain and in the complaint, the NGO has alleged that Bansal had earned huge profits by using dummy companies to do the work and the complainant has also alleged that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has helped his relatives.
The NGO Roads Anti-Corruption Organisation claims to monitor the civic projects in Delhi. The NGO on Saturday went to the Court with its allegations on Bansal. The court has asked for more documents regarding the allegation so that the court can decide whether a FIR or formal police complaint could be filed.
The copy of the court’s order has been reported by India Today.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has been often accused by Delhi Police of targeting his party men on the orders of Central government. AAP has denied all the charges that the NGO has alleged.
