New Delhi, Dec 22: The Aadhaar card of an old man, whom people mistook for a beggar, in Rae Bareli district of Uttar Pradesh revealed that he is a millionaire and belongs to Tamil Nadu.

As per the details, the man has been identified as Mutthaiya Nadar who is a resident of 240 B North, Neru, Thidiyur Pookuli, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, 627152. As per a News18 report, the money in his bank account totalled Rs 1,63,93,000.

Nadar was spotted, in a bad condition, by Swami Prabodh Paramhans Inter College’s Swami Bhaskar on December 13. As Bhaskar tried speaking to him, he could not understand the language. Nadar was given food by Bhaskar who even took him to a barber for shave and haircut.

Noteworthy, an Aadhaar card, a bank FD and key was recovered from his clothes and soon his family, back in Tamil Nadu, was contact through the phone number on the Aadhaar card and informed about his whereabouts.

Nadar has now flown back to Tamil Nadu along with his family. His family has claimed that Nadar had been missing since June when the family went on a pilgrimage.
