Bengaluru: One person reportedly died as a three-storey under-construction building collapsed at Thyagarajanagar district in Bengaluru on Saturday, stated news agency ANI. When the collapse occurred, two persons working inside the building were feared to be trapped. Luckily one of the persons trapped managed to escape from the building and informed the fire department officials about the other one. However, it was too late for the squad to save the other person. They recovered the body and sent to the hospital, stated a Fire Department official who was present at the spot where under-construction building collapse took place. A dog squad and fire department have been deployed at the site to rescue the survivors.
Earlier in February this year, three people died and seven others were left injured as a five-storey under-construction building collapsed at Kasavanahalli.
