Bengaluru, May 2: In yet another shocking incident of crime against woman, a 25-year-old girls was dragged and later abducted while she was speaking on phone in front of her paying guest (PG) accomodation. The entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera that was fixed on the street of Katriguppe on April 23. The accused took the victim near a under-construction site where he allegedly tried to rape her.

The victim, who works in a private beauty clinic in Kalyan Nagar area reportedly said she resisted him (accused) and escaped after biting the accused’s hand. Read Also: (Noida fashion designer Shipra Malik planned her own kidnapping)

The victim then rushed back to her PG where she narrated her ordeal. According to reports, the victim was dropped outside her PG near Mahatma Temple by her friend on the night when she was abducted. The victim was on her way to PG when she got a call, the victim stood outside her house, speaking on the phone, when the accused grabbed her from behinds and abducted her to a building construction site.

The victim who shouted for help, following which the locals living near the construction site rushed to help her. later the victim also claimed that the PG owner tried to convince her to not file police complaint. The victim further alleged that the local police officials have failed to take any stern action in the case. The accused is yet to be identified.

In last two years kidnapping cases in Bengaluru has shockingly doubled. Mainly kids aged between 10 and 15 are kidnapped and are forced away to indulge in begging.
