Bhavnagar, Dec 14: The results of Bhavnagar Rural, Bhavnagar East, and Bhavnagar West Vidhan Sabha seats in Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017 will be declared today on December 18. Elections to Bhavnagar Rural, Bhavnagar East, and Bhavnagar West Vidhan Sabha seats in the Bhavnagar district was held on December 9 in the first phase of Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017. The main parties contesting in Bhavnagar Rural assembly constituency number 103, Bhavnagar East assembly constituency number 104, Bhavnagar West assembly constituency number 105 in Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017 include the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Congress party. In the Bhavnagar Rural, the Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded the sitting MLA Parshotambhai Odhavjibhai Solanki against Congress’ Kantibhai Chauhan. In Bhavnagar East, sitting MLA Vibhavariben Vijaybhai Dave from BJP is up against Congress’ Nitaben B. Rathod and in the Bhavnagar West assembly constituency, Jitubhai Vaghani from BJP is contesting the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017 against Dilipsinh A. Gohil from the grand-old Congress party. Pratapbhai Patel from the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is debuting in the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017.

Although the counting of votes would begin at 8 AM on December 18, the early trends would only start coming in by 9 AM. By 11 AM, the picture will become clear as to which party would rule the state of Gujarat for next five years. While the BJP has tried to retain Gujarat it has been ruling for over 22 years, the Patidar agitation proved itself to be a significant one just ahead of the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017. For Congress, Gujarat is a tough nut to crack considering the BJP domination and the popularity of Narendra Modi.

The exit polls result for the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017, which were declared at 5:30 PM, at the end of the second and last phase of polling in the state, predicted that the BJP will yet again form a government in PM Narendra Modi’s home state by registering a comprehensive win.
