Referring to one of the old tweets of Rahul Gandhi in which the Congress president had said that “There is only place for one NGO in India and it’s called the RSS. Shut down all other NGOs. Jail all activists and shoot those that complain. Welcome to the new India”, the BJp said that there is only one place for idiocy and it’s called Congress.

“There is only one place for idiocy and it’s called the Congress. Support Bharat Ke Tukde Tukde Gang, Maoists, fake activists, and corrupt elements. Defame all those who are honest and working.  Welcome to Rahul Gandhi’s Congress,” he tweeted.

Addressing a press conference after the SC judgment, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said, “This judgment by SC is a win for India. This verdict is also an indictment of Congress. Rahul Gandhi is standing with Gautam Navlakha who wants Referendum in Kashmir & doesn’t consider Kashmir as an integral part of India.”

Earlier in the day, the apex court on Friday refused to grant relief to the five activists detained in the Bhima Koregaon violence case and allowed the Pune Police to go ahead with the probe. The Apex Court asked the activists, arrested in the Bhima Koregaon violence case, to approach an appropriate forum and go to trial court for relief. The Court also extended their house arrest for another four weeks.

The five activists namely — poet Varavara Rao, lawyer Sudha Bhardwaj, activists Arun Ferreira, Vernon Gonsalves, and Gautam Navlakha were placed under house arrest by a Supreme Court order on August 29. They were detained on August 28 from various cities for their alleged involvement in the case.
